The shape of the MR11 lamps is based on GU4 LED lamps. They are low voltage lamps which have 2 pins measuring 2 mm apart. The MR11 / GU4 LED lamp is shaped like a spotlight. Since GU4 LED lamps operate at 12 volts, they need a transformer to ensure that they work correctly.

There was a lengthy delay getting my order dispatched but it was explained that this can occasionally happen with shipments from China. The batteries did arrive within the revised delivery timescale. Overall a good service.
